72 Hours

If you’re after something fun that doesn’t ask you to think too hard, 72 Hours is an easy choice. The comedy follows Joe, a successful advertising executive who accidentally ends up in a group chat for a bachelor party. Before long, he’s spending an unforgettable weekend in Miami with a group of strangers.

Some parts of the story are a little hard to believe, especially how quickly Joe becomes part of the group. Still, the film knows exactly what it wants to be: a light, fast-moving comedy that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Kevin Hart leads the cast, joined by Saturday Night Live performers Marcello Hernández, Ben Marshall, and Kam Patterson, who add plenty of energy to the film.

The Truthers

A family reunion quickly turns into something much darker in The Truthers. After her mother’s sudden death, a young woman returns home and begins to question her father’s increasingly strange behavior. As she searches for answers, she finds herself pulled into a psychological mystery where nothing feels quite right.

Written by Carlos Montero and Darío Madrona, the creators of Elite, the film stars José Coronado and keeps the tension building from beginning to end.

A Sad and Beautiful World

Set in Beirut, A Sad and Beautiful World follows childhood sweethearts Nino and Yasmina as they reconnect years after going their separate ways. While trying to rebuild their relationship, they also face the realities of living through a country in crisis.

Rather than relying on big dramatic moments, the film takes a quieter approach, focusing on love, resilience, and hope. It has already received recognition on the festival circuit, including a shared People’s Choice Award at the Venice International Film Festival.

Hadestown: The Musical

If you’ve never had the chance to experience Hadestown on stage, this filmed production brings the award-winning musical to a wider audience. Inspired by Greek mythology, it retells the stories of Orpheus and Eurydice alongside Hades and Persephone through powerful performances and memorable music.

Featuring the original Broadway principal cast, it’s a chance to experience one of the most celebrated musicals of recent years without being in the theatre.

Manhunter: The Final Cut

Michael Mann’s Manhunter returns in a newly restored 4K edition, giving audiences another chance to experience the crime thriller on the big screen.

The story follows FBI profiler Will Graham as he comes out of retirement to track down the serial killer known as the Tooth Fairy. Along the way, he seeks help from the imprisoned Dr. Hannibal Lecktor, marking the character’s first appearance in a feature film.

Where to watch: The restored version is playing in select U.S. cinemas, while the original film is available on Prime Video and The Roku Channel.
