Mutiny

Jason Statham returns to the action genre in Mutiny, playing Cole Reed, a man who finds himself framed for the murder of his billionaire boss.

Reed sets out to uncover who is behind the conspiracy and why he was targeted. Directed by Jean-François Richet, the film also stars Annabelle Wallis.

Mother Mary

Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel lead Mother Mary, a music drama directed by David Lowery.

The film follows a famous pop star who has an emotional crisis while on tour and retreats to the countryside, where she reconnects with her estranged costume designer. Hunter Schafer also stars, while the music comes from Charli XCX and Jack Antonoff.

Mother Mary premiered at Sundance earlier this year and is now available to stream.

Is God Is

Two sisters return to the American South to confront their father, the man responsible for a fire that left them badly scarred when they were children.

Based on Aleshea Harris’ play, the film combines revenge, family trauma, dark comedy, and Southern Gothic elements. Kara Young and Mallori Johnson lead the cast, alongside Janelle Monáe, Vivica A. Fox, and Sterling K. Brown.

The Christophers

The Christophers follows the children of a famous artist who are desperate to secure their inheritance after his death. They turn to a former art forger and ask him to complete a collection their father left unfinished.

Steven Soderbergh directs the film, which stars Ian McKellen, Michaela Coel, James Corden, and Jessica Gunning.

Outer Banks — Season 5

The Pogues are back for the fifth and final season of Outer Banks.

After the events of the previous season, the group sets out on another adventure involving the search for the Blue Crown. Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Rudy Pankow, and Drew Starkey return for the final chapter.

For viewers who have followed the Pogues from the beginning, this is the season that brings their story to an end.
