ZACU Entertainment, CANAL+, and CANALBOX staff marked Kwibuka 32 with a visit to the Rebero Genocide Memorial in Kigali, Paying tribute to political leaders who were killed for opposing the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

The commemoration brought together staff alongside actors and media personalities, including Niyitegeka Gratien (Papa Sava), Mugisha Emmanuel (Clapton Kibonge), Ariane Vanessa, Saranda Mutoni, Igihozo Nshuti Mireille, and Dogiteri Nsabi, among others.

Wreaths were laid at the memorial, followed by a moment of silence in memory of the lives lost and in honor of those who stood for unity and paid the ultimate price.

Rebero Genocide Memorial is the final resting place for more than 14,400 victims and stands as a symbol of courage and integrity. It honors leaders who resisted genocidal ideology and chose unity over division.

Candles were lit as part of Urumuri Rutazima—the Flame of Remembrance—symbolizing resilience, hope, and the responsibility to preserve the memory of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

The visit forms part of the 100-day Kwibuka commemoration period, which begins on April 7 and concludes on July 3. The presence of public figures highlighted the role of media and entertainment voices in encouraging awareness and unity, particularly among young people.

As Kwibuka 32 continues, moments like these serve as a reminder that remembrance is not only about the past, but about the responsibility carried forward every day.
